The Grumpy Model Look

This week Alan and I went for a walk around the shops in Derry, and we didn't only leave the city with bags of new clothes, but also plenty of project ideas for the future! I won't reveal any more details on the matter until the ideas develop, but I can say that I'll have a very busy second semester!

Anyway, we got a chance to take some photos too! Alan is used to being a model now, though I am still a little clueless as to how to direct the shoot. I can find cool angles and backgrounds, but then I have no idea what pose I want from the model. I usually just tell Alan to 'do the grumpy model look'. It works a lot of the time!

Day 19 of the 365 Challenge.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently, but once I get back from my city break in Prague next week, I will update this blog lots more! I can't wait to share the pretty photos from the trip!

Wandering in the Woods

Due to a lack of internet access at my house over the last while, I haven't been able to post a lot on this blog. Also, I haven't had too much to chat about, seeing as while I'm at home, the only media related thing I am doing is taking loads of photos! But soon I'll be back in university, and I have a few plans that will be put in motion... I'll keep the blog updated!

For now, more photos! I went on a walk with my parents over the weekend. I was thrilled to get out of the house, as I was definitely getting a severe case of Cabin Fever.

Day 19 of the 365 Challenge. I think a Little Red Riding Hood shoot would look really cool here. When I get a chance I'll return, probably in the summer.

These photos were taken at Ballybofey Forest (Donegal). It has a nice little path to stroll down, so check it out if you're ever in the area.

I took the photos with my tripod and shutter release. Luckily it was chilly, so there weren't many other walkers there to stare.

I would really like this photo if my hand wasn't in a stupid position, and if I didn't look pregnant! Oh well, it was way too cold to spend a long time reviewing the photos as I took them, so this is what I ended up with.

Let the Challenge Commence

I've been a tad quiet on the blogging side of things over the last two weeks, but I can assure you that I've been hard at work! Well, if the Project 365 counts as work...

I've been keeping my Flickr updated with photos from each day. I reckon I'll share the best ones from each month in a post on this blog. For now, to celebrate successfully completing one week of the challenge, here's my first 7 days of the project. Only 358 more days to go!

Day 1: The Bokeh Beginning - I promised myself to start on the first of January, so I did, regardless of the fact that I was slightly worse for wear after the New Year's celebrations.

Day 2: Portal - The second clone photo that I have ever attempted. I plan to dedicate a whole blog post to Multiplicity photographs, eventually!

Day 3: Caged

Day 4: Magpie's Nest

Day 5: Mum and Dad

Day 6: Window

Day 7: Sorcha and Shauna - Taken before we hit Temple Bar for cocktails.
